Drone light shows, explained
What is a drone light show?
A choreographed performance of illuminated drones that creates shapes, logos, text, and moving stories in the sky. We design the sequence around your event, from the opening formation to the final reveal.
Can the show include our logo, names, or music?
Yes. Share your logo, names, colors, soundtrack ideas, and references. We build a storyboard with you, then design a show that brings those ideas together into a connected story.
How much does a drone show cost?
The price depends on the fleet size, show duration, creative complexity, location, and operating requirements. Send us your date, venue, and ideas for a tailored quote.
Will a drone show work at our venue?
We assess the flight area, viewing space, nearby obstacles, airspace requirements, and access for setup. Send us your location early so we can check feasibility. Indoor performances need a separate technical assessment; drone size alone does not determine suitability.
How far in advance should we reach out?
As early as you can. Some locations can be approved quickly, while others need longer coordination. Allow at least three months for planning where additional permissions are needed, and potentially longer for more complex locations. Contact us to check the requirements for your specific location and date.
Can we see the design before show night?
Yes. We develop your storyboard together using Starbound Consultations, then share a rendered preview at your location and planned show time. You provide feedback, and we refine the design before the performance.
What happens if the weather is unsuitable?
Our team reviews the conditions and makes safety the priority. We discuss weather considerations and the applicable rescheduling or cancellation terms during planning, so you know what to expect before booking.
What do we need to do on the day?
We coordinate site access and timing with you in advance. Our team arrives a few hours early, sets up, completes checks, performs the show, and packs away. You can focus on your guests while we handle the operation.
How do you approach safety?
We plan the flight area and audience separation, assess the site, and carry out preflight checks. Our system includes geofences, redundant communication channels, and fleet-wide emergency controls. Every show depends on suitable conditions and the required permissions.
